Can I send just one parcel to the USA without an account?
Yes. Enter your parcel weight, dimensions and US ZIP code in the quote form, then complete your parcel details and pay online. No account, subscription or minimum parcel volume is needed. Print your label and drop the parcel at a UPS Access Point. Shipping and any applicable US import duty are paid at checkout.
How much does it cost to send a parcel to the USA from the UK?
For a typical 1kg parcel, £12.80 shipping. 2kg is £15.50, 3kg is £18.70, 4kg is £23, 5kg is £27, scaling to £101 at 30kg. US import duty is added at checkout — pre-paid, no admin fee, no further charges. The same parcel via Royal Mail International PDDP is typically £19–£24; via the direct UPS portal £35–£42. No monthly fees, pay per label.
What's in the price — is it all-in?
The quoted shipping price covers carriage, fuel, residential surcharges and tracking. US import duty is calculated separately from the parcel's HS code and declared value, then added at checkout — pre-paid in the same payment, with zero admin markup. The two-line total you see at checkout is the full cost. No further fees, and your American buyer pays £0 at the door.
Do I need a UPS account or a contract?
No. TradeWind is a UPS-authorised reseller — we buy UPS Worldwide Economy DDP labels in bulk and pass the discounted rate through. You quote, pay by card, print the label, and drop the parcel at any of the 5,000+ UPS Access Points in the UK. No contract, no monthly minimums.
How long does UK to USA delivery take?
UPS Worldwide Economy DDP typically delivers in 4–7 working days across the 48 contiguous US states + DC (Alaska, Hawaii and US territories are not covered by this service). Faster services (UPS Standard, UPS Express Saver) are available for time-critical shipments at a higher price.
What happens if my parcel is delayed or lost?
Every label includes £100 of UPS carrier liability cover free. For higher-value parcels you can declare full value at booking. Optional £2.29 Delivery Guarantee refunds carriage if the parcel takes longer than 8 working days. Claims go through TradeWind support at support@tradewind.express.
