No. Free is £0/month for unlimited shipments on TradeWind house rates — you only pay per label, and no card is needed to start. Bring your own UPS account (BYOA) is £29/month flat if you'd rather use your own contract.
What's included in Free?
Your account, bulk label printing, shipping rules, branded inserts, customs paperwork, tracking and email notifications, with unlimited shipments on our rates. ShipStation and WooCommerce are available. Shopify, Etsy, eBay and BigCommerce are coming soon, subject to platform approval.
Why does BYOA cost money if Free is free?
When you bring your own UPS contract we make zero margin on the labels — the flat £29/month subscription replaces that. If your own negotiated rates beat our house rates by more than that each month, BYOA pays for itself.
Can I switch between Free and BYOA?
Yes — anytime. No fees to switch.
Do you charge per shipment for software?
No. Free has no monthly fee and no shipment cap. BYOA is a single flat £29/month plan — no volume tiers, no per-shipment charge.
