Prices shown are for shipping only. US import duty applies on top for every UK→US parcel. TradeWind pre-pays the duty at checkout with no admin fee. Other carriers either pre-pay (DDP) with a fee, or leave the buyer to pay at the door (DAP). Where carriers publish only a range, we show the lower bound. Last refreshed May 2026.
How we collect these numbers.
- 1 Test parcel. Every quote is for a standard parcel (25 × 20 × 10 cm at 1 kg, scaling up to 30 cm × 40 cm × 30 cm at 30 kg) shipped from a London postcode to New York (10001). Carriers price by zone — pricing for parcels to California or Florida is broadly within ±10% of the New York rate on most carriers.
- 2 All-in pricing. Where a carrier adds a per-label admin fee (e.g. Parcel2Go), we include it in the quoted price. The published rate without the admin fee is shown in the carrier's "notes" column.
- 3 Published list rates only. We compare what any UK customer can book without a contract. Carriers offer better rates to high-volume accounts; those aren't shown here.
- 4 Refreshed when carriers update their rate cards. Most UK carriers reprice once a year (typically April). We re-pull when they do. If you spot an out-of-date number, email hello@tradewind.express and we'll correct same day.
