Why we're collecting these.
Since the US ended de-minimis on 29 August 2025, UK sellers have been paying wildly different prices to ship the same parcel. The cheapest aggregator we've found is £15.50 for a 2 kg parcel; the most expensive £55+ for the same box. We're publishing the average overpayment — named carriers, real numbers — to give every UK seller a benchmark.
The report will go out in mid-July 2026 with the full dataset (anonymised) and a personal saving estimate emailed to every contributor who left contact details. We're pitching it to the UK consumer-press desks (Times Money, Which?, MoneySavingExpert, BBC You & Yours) — so the louder this gets, the more pressure there'll be on the carriers to drop their hidden admin fees.
