BS postcodes pay the same as everyone else — the card is national. Coffee, prints and jewellery mostly land in the lighter bands; Royal Mail PDDP is only an option up to 2kg, after which UPS carries everything to 30kg. The live quote adds your product's duty and shows the landed figure before you commit.
Transit, duty and the fine print we actually say out loud
Delivery runs 4–7 working days from drop-off. DDP means the import duty — now owed on every UK→US parcel since the $800 de minimis threshold ended — is calculated from your HS code and declared value and settled at checkout. Your buyer's experience is tracking, then doorbell. No brokerage fee, no demand for payment, no refusal-and-return spiral.
Limits, plainly: coverage is the 48 contiguous states plus Washington DC. Alaska and Hawaii need a non-DDP service (buyer pays duty on arrival). UPS needs a street address; PO Box orders should go Royal Mail PDDP.
